Verify your complete history

A snapshot includes all saved account, daily and journal data at its creation time. Later changes and unsaved device drafts are not included.

  1. Save every numbered part from 1 through the part count shown in Account. You may retry any part. Use Resume snapshot after refreshing the page.
  2. Download the manifest after the parts. Keep one copy of each part with its original filename in the same folder as the manifest. Do not mix snapshots.
  3. Download the Python assembly and verification script into that folder. With Python 3 installed, run python3 assemble-export.py companion-SNAPSHOT-ID.manifest.json (replace the filename with your actual manifest filename).
  4. The script refuses missing parts or incorrect total sizes, verifies the full snapshot's SHA-256 hash, and checks the record count. A successful result produces a UTF-8 JSON Lines file. Each line contains a kind (account, daily_record, journal_entry) and data. Check the account in the manifest is the one you intended to export.

Parts are binary fragments: even a character or record can span files. Do not open and re-save individual parts as text. The manifest's complete-snapshot flag means server preparation finished, not that your browser saved everything.

Snapshots expire after 24 hours. Signing out revokes this session's snapshot; account deletion removes it. Preparing another replaces the previous snapshot. Removing a snapshot leaves saved records unchanged. None of these actions can erase already downloaded copies.

Before deleting your account, verify the assembled file and separately download any device drafts you want. If you proceed without all parts, the copy is incomplete and cannot be recovered after deletion.
